Hi all:

I have still been attempting to sort out (in my own slow way) RGB imaging (of course with help from SGL members).  I used the 9.25 SCT, ASI 120mm with filters and a 2x Barlow for this one.  The blue channel was pretty iffy and I used a crayford style focuser with camera in a diagonal....seemed like a pretty big image on the screen (to me)   I think I am making a bit of progress.

Thought I would post image for possible critiques/suggestions(?)

Thanks for looking

Cheers

Roger

You are certainly getting there. Some good detail captured there. The blue channel is often iffy, it is most affected by seeing. You might want to try RGB align in Registax, because there is a slight blue-green edge to the lower side of the dark cloud belts, indicating alignment isn't perfect
