At midday on Monday I had the 700D set up for testing AF on a zoom lens. However the Moon was up and I couldn't resist.

Stuck on the Manual Samyang 500mm f6.3 and shot at ISO 100 f11, 1/640. Focusing through the view finder and this lens is a challenge to say the least. Mount EQ3-2, cable release.

Conditions blazing sunshine, light wind, high haze.

First pic as shot. Second run through DXO Pro 8 Elite to try and get a little detail.

Oddly sureal result. ;)

At least I know it is the Moon. :)
