Yeah to use the 2.5x powermate I had to use the TV powermate to t-adapter with the maxbrights screwed directly on, with this setup I can reach focus with my revelation 12" dob.

The extra distance after the power reduces magnification slightly, I think its around 2x mag at 100mm

And it can be used in front of the t2 prism, works well in short refractors
