The sky was completely gray, but occasionally a thin bit drifted past the sun.

Nice images. It was roughly the same here, but the sun was only visible for fleeting moments, so very few managed to take an image. I didn't even manage to get the scope lined up

The cloud was quite good actually. The sun was nice and dim and we wouldn't have seen more with eclipse goggles anyway.

I gave up on the telescope because the sun was only visible for seconds and just shot freehand with the 55-250 IS.
