EP extension tube for Baader Mk iii Zoom & Barlow

Recommended Posts

I been trying out the barow extension to the baader mk iii zoom lens and found it's pretty hit or miss if I've got enough travel on the focuser.

I have a Skywatcher 200P (f5) with the standard Crayford Focuser, and I use the 2" holder.

I'm thinking a extension tube would sort this out, with 45mm & 80mm products available.   The 45mm should be enough, but would be interested in hearing from anyone else with this setup..

Is it outwards or inwards travel that you seem short of ?

If you don't have enough outwards travel then an extension tube will help, if you are running out of inwards travel then it won't.
