CPC1100 - BOOTLOADER ERROR 0080

One week before SGLX!!!!!   :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I now have all the cables and the CFM software loaded on my Macbook. Tonight I fired it all up and "flashed" the handset. It looked like it was working as predicted in the instructions I found on the Celestron website but I now have a handset that thinks it is connected to an "Advanced GT", not a CPC1100. It is asking me to enter coordinates rather than using GPS.

Does anyone have experience of fixing this problem with a CPC?

Flashed it again and it now knows it's a CPC :grin:

For the record, the only thing I changed was the option in "Mount Types" by setting it to "Always do what I selected this time", which seemed to stop it switching itself from the Alt-Az to EQ setting during the update.

Same thing happened to me the first time I got a Bootloader error. Took me most of the evening to work out what was going on! Glad you sorted.
