Experimental Jupiter Imaging/Processing

I took the images for this composite over the night of 4th/5th. First of all I took a mono video with my SSAG using 'Videos Sky' capture software that allows you to image with the SSAG. I then took a colour video with my QHY5L II. I processed each video individually in PIPP & AS2! for the mono and RS6 for the colour. I then aligned and sized in PS7 and blended together with a bit more processing.

Mono Set-up:

C8 XLT SCT, CGEM mount, Revelation Astro 2.5x barlow, StarShoot Auto Guider, Red filter.

Colour Set-up:

As above but using the QHY5L II camera with no filter (meant to put the Baader Neodymium filter on but forgot! ).

Imaging with the mono SSAG and a red filter really brings out the detail in the cloud belts. I May have to get an IR pass filter now and see what that can achieve.
