Canon 40d

Any feedback from users who have used or currently use a canon 40d for Astrophotography ?

It's in my budget to buy the body only and am wanting to attatch it to my mak to take both planetary and DSo photography !!

Pro's and cons would be helpfull also

You may find this interesting, has live view but doesn't appear to have video mode which is useful for planets, on the pro side it has magnesium body unlike the current

XX D models plastic.

Only used my (modded) 40D a few times so far but for £100 it's not bad.

M42 60s x 3 GSO  6" F2.9 Newtonian, Cannon 40D @ ISO800
