Hitechastro USB \ HEQ5 Pro \ Stellarium connection

Hello,

I have the Hitecastro USB to Direct interface, but can not get it to work with the Stellarium telescope plugin. Previously I used the Synscan handheld and Stellarium and that works fine. I also have the ASCOM drivers and EQMOD and that connects through the Hitechastro cable fine, and I can slew with the EQMOD GUI. But now I am trying to get it to work through Stellarium but can not get it to connect .... any ideas ? - is it the settings I am using in the configuration ?

hmm - wonder if Stellariumscope is the answer ?

Yes it is.

Stellarium alone does not provide an interface to ASCOM. So if you want to control via an ascom driver such as EQMOD you need stellariumscope.
