celestron8g8
Very nice GC ! Actually when i bought my first scope back in 1996 it was a Bushnell 5" Newt on a small mount . This was the very first DSO i found while scanning the night sky . I was so excited i called the wife out and she looked and saw it and we both thought it was a galaxie cause we never seen one in a scope . This encouraged me to buy me a ral scope which was the Celestron C8 on a CG5 mount with track motors . Took me a while to find it again but i did and saw that it was a GC and my sky map showed it as M3 . From there on was history in the making . I have always been a GC fan firs and everything else second .
nipper1967
M3 was the first globular cluster l saw, l thought it looked like a hand full of tiny diamonds on a black cloth, it will always be one of my favourites.
