Maxim VS DSS

evening all,

so i just downloaded maxim DL and had a quick go, followed the instructions online for stacking, added the lights and flats however the image produced by stacking still had vignetting, but if i run the same ones through DSS they are fine. does anyone know why this might be happening?

Make sure that you have gone to the advanced tab in 'Set Calibration' and ticked 'Calibrate Flat'. Assuming that you are using your Canon 1000D, when you produce the Master Flats, make sure you select 'Box Car' filter in 'Flat Norm.'
