EQ3-2 Dual Motors Problem

Can anyone help? I've got an EQ3-2 Dual Motors which I purchased from Astroboot last October. Since I've had it, its been a bit temperamental, stopping during use and needing the connectors wiggled to get it going again and last time I used it, slowing right down (it sounds like its on but the clicking is slower) a few more wiggles of the connectors seemed to solve it to get it back to the correct speed, but it keeps happening. Is there anything I can do to sort this out or should I just return it to Astroboot? Hope someone can help.
