CPC800 GPS power

Recommended Posts

Fingers crossed, I should be picking up a six-month old CPC800 GPS next Tuesday - and I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. :afro: The guy has been very reasonable and has settled on a price of £950 - the most I've ever spent on anything to do with astronomy!

Anyway, my question is I know Celestron do the "Power Tank" supply, but are there any cheaper alternatives people would recommend? I don't really understand 'lectrics, so I'm worried about burning the Celestron's circuitry by plugging it in to any old thing.

All advice welcome.
