Silly, Silly, Silly Me! Eyepiece FAIL!

I've just driven 350 miles in filthy weather, with scope packed in the van, to realise I forgot to pack any EPs. Luckily, I have a 2x Barlow, so at least a single low / medium power would do (30mm-18mm?)

I'm away from home for a week and was looking forward to some clear sky forecasts in the Suffolk /Norfolk borders ... but need an EP or two to be able to achieve that now...

I'm driving from Suffolk to Portsmouth tomorrow, back to Suffolk Sunday eve...

If anyone can suggest a shop 'on the way' that would be great. Failing that, maybe I should order the tele vue I've always wanted and just have it delivered (unlikely, but nice thought).

I'm really interested to see how their £30 Altair Astro-EX GSO 70 degree EP compares to my basic Meade 4000 Plossls.

Saving up for a super wide nagler or something... one day

I dropped into IoAstro on the A3, on the way to the South Coast. What a helpful chap David is there.

I came away with an Altair super wide zoom, I'll report back on how that goes.
