Dec 13th 13:06 tp 13:19 flare and bright lobe

I had a look with the PST and in White Light yesterday when the sun cleared the gaps to the south

of my garden.

    Along with a whole rash of spots and things going on I noticed a very bright flare with a bright lobe of

material arching away from it at 13:06, which over the next 13 minutes appeared to fall back to the disc,

dissipating as it fell.

Spectacular little event.

Nice catch. The nearest star can be full of surprises
