Skywatcher Skymax 127 SynScan Telescope and collimation

Recommended Posts

I am seriously considering buying a  Skywatcher Skymax 127 Synscan. One thing I just thought about is the dreaded (at least to me) collimation problem. Do these 'scopes suffer the same problem? Also, I have been searching for info of how to use a GOTO without any success. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be a great help.

Thanks

Brian

I've had mine 6 years and never needed to collimate it.

If you do have to, eg if someone attacked the scope with a set of allen keys, then collimation is very simple indeed according to the accounts around.
