Insure your kit.

Do any of you guys insure your kit for use either at home or when your out and about? If so, do you just get cover I Der your home insurance, or something else?

I make sure that my astro-equipment is covered by insurance. Not just as 'contents' within the home. I make it clear to them when discussing my renewal that astronomy is not an in the home hobby, (should the inevitable happen)!, and occaisionally have to go/do it away from home.

Hi, I have added extra insurance to the home insurance which also covers when you are out & about, so a bit confusing.
