type 2 filters advantages comments please

I already recently got hold of some type 1 lrgb filters these were made by true technologies I now have a chance at some type2 Astronomik ones

Can anyone give the pros of changing to having these I know it wont need ir filter in line and they will also be more like parfocal to the Sll and HA and UHC Astronmomik ones I just got hold of the other day I may have already answered my own question here but can anyone give more details please btw we have to be quick here the guy in the States wont wait on for long thanks guys comments please

Well I think that you answered your own question!

Complete Parfocal compatibility with the narrow band stuff no need to use a UV/IR block, generally making life easier! Go for it if I were you!
