Fault on trigger ball joint.

Hello,

My Trigger Grip Dynasun WT011H Action Ball Head was just delivered today. I've noticed a chip on what appears to be a retaining latch located under the trigger. Can anyone tell me if the damage is serious or if I can live with it?
