baader ftr's

Hi all,

thinking of getting the baader ftr's, the ep's I have are es and celestron, would the ftr's fit these lens or are they only compatable with baader?

They are designed specifically to work with the Baader Hyperions. You can use them as barrel extensions for eyepieces that have a hybrid 2" / 1.25" barrel but they won't give the amplification effect that they do when used with the Hyperions.

The rings don't contain any optical elements but act as a spacer between the two optical sets within body of the Hyperion eyepiece. Except the Hyperion 24mm which only uses a single optical set.

Even when used with Baader Hyperion's, they are a real faff to change around in the dark.  I use them as extension pieces now and very useful they are.

just saved me a little hard earned, will just get some extension tubes to suit my optics.
