Grab & Go Tak case & mini EQ

Had an evening to play around with a few bits, so worked out what I can fit in my Tak case. Needs some more foam but that's easy to sort.

I was also messing around with a ball head which I got cheaply recently. It occurred to me it was quite easy to use it as a form of wedge to create an ultra portable EQ mount. Was very easy to do, and felt pretty stable, plus the movement was very well balanced. It would mean only having to move the scope in one axis to track targets so may be more stable/easier than in Alt Az mode. Worth trying anyway.

Just snagged an Induro AT-413 on Siphonaptera habour [the bay of fleas] with a ball head. All I need now is the Giro Mini.

Love the simplicity and versatility of this set up.
