Eye piece / scope selector link

Hello all can anyone help there is a link on the forum to a site where you can input scope and eye piece size and then compare views. I can't seem to find it, can anyone help cheers

Don't think there is one on SGL specifically, most seem to use Stellarium which either allows it or has a plug in.

Easier to work out the magnification and divide that into the eye piece field of view.

Another "problem" is say 100x in a plossl you get 0.5 degree view, then it depends on the object - m31 isn't going to make it but splitting Mizar and Alcor will.

There are a number of Astro Tools provided for free here. Onoe of them is a field of view simulator:

Remember that the actual view you get will depend heavily on local light pollution and seeing conditions

Once you store your scope and eyepieces, you can switch the views and compare.

I tried to do this today, I wen through every single setting and didn't find anything with that option
