iPhone Full Moon - 8th Sept

A few snaps with the iPhone through the Vixen tonight. A little bland because it was full, but a nice hint of terminator on a couple of them.

Just crops of single frames, no processing.

A 'little bland' he says. Hmmff. You want bland try grey clouds. Deep, grey grey clouds. Stacked on grey clouds.

Nice shots, Stu. Really nice to see the colours too. I haven't imaged the moon for a while but I use a mono camera so your shots most definitely do not look bland to my eyes!

Cheers Luke :-). They certainly came alive a bit after I tweaked the contrast and dropped the brightness.

It is interesting how many different shades there are, it is certainly not mono - I converted one to mono just now and you lose a surprising amount.

Great work, Stu and it is amazing what you are producing with such relatively little imaging gear. I have no idea about these things, but a free software program like Gimp allow you to play around with textures and shades to augment your inspiring images
