Quick attempt at the Cocoon Nebula

Hi all,

I had a quick go at the Cocoon on 26th August 2014 as the night was just not going as planned! - just processed the data and got much more than expected. Will be revisiting for a 'real' attempt soon.

Taken using my usual stuff:

SW 150 PDS, EQ5 Pro Synscan GOTO.

Guiding: SW ST80 and QHY5.

Modded Canon 600D and coma corrector with CLS clip filter.

Using: BYEOS, PHD, DSS, Photoshop CC.

I think this was only 10 x 300s at ISO 800.

Nice! Looks good with the coma corrector. Might order myself one of those for my 150pds this season... (among the dozen or so other things I crave for my setup).

Thanks I love the 150PDS, but there is always a LONG list when it comes to Astrophtography! Mine is growing by the day
