Earl
Last night was my first run using my tempreature compentsating focuser, after getting a rough feel for the stepsize to get focus with I set it of, and it worked flawlessly.I set up a 3 hour capture session on my target, set my alarm for 3.30am to go shut it all off.Well I slept straight through my alarm ! thankfully no rain had come along.Only to find that after 6 subs (1 hour) a cloud must of obscured my target and PHD had stopped guiding, ending the sub collection. Oh well. However I was greated with my next target and Orion just starting to show over the woods oposite.Bring on the winter skies !!!3.5 hours out of the 36 I have decided to go with my current target.Attached is a sub of my next target. this will get a 24 hours LRGB then its Horse head and M42 time !!
