Taken last night with my 6 inch scope..........

Nice image Dave.

It would be helpful to let us know how this was taken(ie) Scope,camera etc.

My only criticism is the stars look a tad too sharp,maybe a soft filter approach in something like Photo-shop may help.

Cheers mick, thanks for the comment. I used a 6 inch scope, no filters, autoguided with PHD, and an orion starshooter G3 camera...............

Hi Dave.

I have had a look in photo-shop,and it appears that the image is clipped,therefore you are losing data.Especially the fainter strands of Nebulosity.

I had a little play with it,to try and address the stars.Cant do anything about the clipping though.

I have softened it a bit as well.

You may not like it,but its the same image,just worked a little different.

By the way I am no expert,and my images are mediocre to say the least.
