IC1396 Cephius fail...

.....from a framimg point of view anyway!!  IC1396 is a large nebula- the 300mm lens would have got it all in nicely had my GOTO been more spot on. Couldn't really see much at the time because the camera is unmodded and doesn't pick Ha that readily.

Shame about the framing but you've got some nice dust detail in there.  M31 has really worked well.  You've to a bit of star elongation in the corners.  I don't know what F setting you were on but might be worth stopping down a little more?

F2.8......this lens will work better at F4 I think.
