Happy sunshine

Was 'in charge' this morning but wanted to pop out for a quick solar session, so I thought Little MakStutov could join me. She seemed to enjoy it :-)

It's more cloudy now, but earlier on it was very clear and the atmosphere very stable. The TV85/Leica combination was working very well with lovely granulation across the whole surface, well defined, almost bright faculae near the limb and a couple of decent active regions. Managed to get up to around x100 to see some cracking detail, but generally I preferred the view at around x60.

Enjoy if you get some sunshine this morning, I'm assuming 'Bertha' will spoil the party tomorrow :-(
