Registax4 Help!

I've been trying to have a "play" with a couple of avi's in registax but all i get is a message saying that it (registax) failed to start decompression of my avi file. I've tried opening avi's taken in both PAL and NTSC and get the same message with both, although they both will play in windows media player. Anyone got any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

You need to download Virtualdub!!

DSS doesn't process AVI's though Saturn - Registax does.

Download VirtualDub - http://www.virtualdub.org/

Open your AVI

Split the AVI into individual frames (Save As image sequence)

Close the AVI

Open the first frame from the AVI and VD will open all the sequenced images

Save As Old AVI

Thanks for that Blinky but i'm still at a loss as to why my version of registax can't open the avi files from my digi cam?? I guess they must be compressed in a fashion that registax can't decompress :?
