Useful tip when flocking

So, i started flocking my ota earlier and then realised i was in a bit of trouble. i just reinforced the top section of the tube to stop a tiny bit of flexing i was getting, using rivets and washers.

The problem, was how to get the flocking to sit flush on the tube....

Lightbulb then shone brightly above my head.

I found a piece of metal tube just slightly larger inside diameter than the washer size and sharpened the end with my dremel. All i had to do then was place the sharpened metal tube over the washer, give it a few twists to cut through the flocking and presto... flocking sits nice and cleanly on the ota with a neat hole punched around the washer.

Just need to touch up the rivet ends with a spot of paint and possibly make a baffle for extra light damping.
