First Light tonight.

After many weeks I get first light tonight ... Rings repaired, changed out the Tak focuser for a Feather touch and the Meade stashed out the way.

Cygnus and Lyra get a hammering

Your kit list is fabulous - I'd be struggling to know which scope to use !!!

So far so good ... The Tak is performing superb and dare I say holding its own against the APM, waiting for the street lights to be turned off at 0200 and revisit the Ring, Veil and North American nebulas, both the Veil and North American looking good through 31mm Nagler UHC / OIII (undecided which is giving me the better views) and I'm thinking the Ring might have been better through the APM, If I get some clear nights next week I plan to do a side by side comparison of the two scopes just to settle my curiosity.

Upgrade to the canaries....

I cant imagine the feeling and fun you must be getting when you look through that scope but at a guess It must make you feel forty years younger.
