Syncan hand controller firmware V3.35

Hi all I am using the EQ8 mount and I have updated the latest firm ware too 3.25

I noticed when I press 0 + 8 it displays syscan update version 1.7

is that correct?

The Synscan firmware revision number and the handset Synscan update revision number are two different things. The handset update revision number ( v 1.7 ) relates to a piece of firmware embedded within the handset (the bit that updates the Synscan firmware) which cannot be updated and the Synscan firmware revision (the latest is v3.35 ) is the handset's operating system, which can be updated
