Turn left at Orion 1st ed.

So I'm new to all this and have got my first scope this week, I have been using bins for the last year with my phone app Google Sky map. So the first ed of this book other than the planet dates from 10 years ago is there anything that I should dismiss or ignore?

Nothing has changed much in the skies since then Although the equipment has got a little better and a lot cheaper.

Yes, there's plenty of mileage in that book yet. My copy is a bit grubby but for observing its worth it's weight in gold.

I thought as much but it best to check before I sit down and read it all.
