M3 - 25th May

The skies have been rubbish for weeks now; or if they there good, I wasn't able to get outside. Anyway, my second DSO sketch, in the form of M3. I found this relatively easily last night, after failing to see a number of other DSOs. I didn't get a huge amount of time to capture the image though, but I'm fairly pleased with it. Taken from a Celestron 130, with a 10mm lens (x65 mag).

Just compared this to my own M3 sketch and they are both very similar so I guess were both doing something right!

Its a very good first sketch, hope to see more of them.
