Firecapture

Hi Guy's.

can anybody help and give me idiots guide on how to get Firecapture to work on Windows xp?

I have been trying to get it to work, but it just will not open. I have a file with the program components in, on my desktop. I have chosen the the web cam component and created a shortcut for this on my desktop, all to no avail. On my Windows 7 laptop it opens with no problems. Can anybody help, please?
