First Attempt of DSO; M13

Recommended Posts

Had my first attempt at taking a photo of something other than a solar object tonight.  Choose M13 as my target as it is easy to find and pretty bright.  Set the camera to take a shot every 3 seconds, taking 60 shots in total.  Only know how to use Registax at the moment, so set it to keep the best 60% and this is what I got back.  I am pretty please with the result, and can not wait until I get my new mount so I can take some longer exposures.  Next clear night I will get out my filter wheel and try getting some RGB shots.  Wish me luck :D

that was a quick edit
once you get used to it its surprising what you can pullout of your data
its just a case of practice, I tend to run my data 3 or 4 times and experiment to see what works best
as no two sessions are the same
