Just a little question, how do you power your motors eta. I'm using an 8 cell powerpack, which I don't think is very good. Just wondering what everyone else is using.

Looking for something cheap maybe like a laptop battery or a modal car battery.

Thats a powerful battery, I could use something smaller maybe a 3.3AH should last all night? what do you use to charge it?

Just stick it on the car Battery charger doesn't cause me any probes works fine mate i also have a 12 volt motor bike Batt .

Maybe this is more than you want to spend, but I use a Celestron Power Tank http://www.dhinds.co.uk/pages/fullProd.php?id=349. It's got a built in red light for using while observing, and a very bright white light which is good for using when you're setting up or packing away. I always seem to drop a small bolt, or a pen lid or something on the grass, and the light is very helpful for tracking them down! The unit is well designed, easy to carry, and plugs into the mains to charge.
