DSS Comet stacking

Took some DSLR pics of Panstarrs K1 last night and thought I'd try stacking them in DSS Comet mode. 

In the help files it shows this option but not when I load the pic's for  stacking , anyone know how to make it appear ?

Hi Dave,

Once you have loaded the pics they should appear in a list on the bottom of the screen, when you click on one of the subs, say the first one then it should show the actual sub on the top half of screen.

On the right hand of the sub screen there should appear 4 icons with one of them being a comet, you click that icon to then set the place for the comet.

After that you need to choose the "Settings" tab from the options on the left hand side and then "Stacking settings", that will open up a box which will let you choose which stacking mode and has "Comet" as an option.

Call me stupid but I can't get it to stack on the comet, no matter what I do it aligns the stars, so what am I doing wrong ?

Have you selected the comet in each frame manually?

It's a chore but you need to place the circle over each frame. I think.
