Hard to find DSO's

Fascinating thread this. In my (very) limited time owning a telescope I have had great success finding planets and stars but have not yet managed to find/see any nebulae or other DSO's.

I will have to try a few of the ones mentioned in this thread.

I have a nice new 68 degree 24mm ES MaxVision that should help :grin:

Many nebula have an NGC star cluster at their heart, these are easier to locate and once found you can concentrate on trying to see the actual nebula, M16 Eagle nebula is a good example,
