Vela Supernova Remnant - OS Veloce RH200 from Kalahari, Namibia

Hi guys,

Here's a another of the Kalahari (Namibia) desert fruit… One of the main reasons I've made that voyage for the 3^rd year in a row :-)

It combines 11:40 hours of SII, OIII, Ha and RGB using the Officina Stellare Veloce scope, at F/3.

There's much to enjoy in this object, and I found it to be interesting on different scales… So, I have posted several versions, varying in size.

I've also posted a screen shot of the image within Aladin SW, showing the exact location of the Vela Pulsar, which has initiated this havoc in the first place… It can be seen at the bottom right side of the image.
