ISS and Keyhole

Recommended Posts

I photographed the ISS rising on evening of 16 April and also managed to catch a flaring Keyhole satellite in the background. At first I thought it was a meteor but searched on heavens-above and found the out of service US-129 was the culprit.  Two for the price of one!

Simple untracked 30s picture with Canon 1100D from near Salisbury.

very nice

got my first satellite transit the other night

was focusing on mars when I had one come into my FOV but was moving pretty quick in my 25mm eyepiece

makes me jump out of my skin whenever a satellite passes through the FOV!  worse still is the bright red flash of an aircraft's navigation light
