Possible C class flare from AR2036 as I reported in another thread earlier today. The region seems to be brightening again just now 1300 UT if anyone is able to do a capture. May be worth keeping an an eye on this afternoon.

Also a H-Alpha hot spot between AR2034 and the NE limb. Can't see anything in white light but seeing not steady due to time of day.

Yep all quiet now, typical now the cloud has cleared. Was an interesting day today though.

Yes this morning looked quite promising with that large active prominence reported and the flare in AR2036 but typically, get some decent weather and all goes quiet.

Managed a quick peek at the sun around 17:30, and some marvellous proms could be seen. The western limb showed a huge complex arcing structure, and loads was going on on the east as well. The surface was dotted with sunspots. One, north of centre showed a huge dark whorl around it, almost giving the impression of an eye. East of that, a VERY bright spot showed on the surface. The sun really gave off a show yesterday
