mountainmoon Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 Hi New to this imaging malarky Have only a bridge camera , but have bought a mount that sits around eyepiece and aligns lens with camera .My q was what settings should i have my camera set at (Speed/aperture etc )I got some half decent moon pics last night ( still alot of work to do !!) but only on 25x eyepiece , could get nothing on 10x Many thanks Dave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kirscovitch Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 I'm assuming you were using a 25mm and a 10mm eyepiece. The 10mm will give you higher magnification and if you don't have your target centered properly, it will be out of the field of view. Center the target as close to the middle of the 25mm and then switch out to the 10mm. Might be off to the edge of the EP but you can readjust the scope from there.
