Old Digital Camera,

I have a feeling I already know the answer will be no I cannot, but its worth asking.

I have an old Samsung digital point and shoot camera (ES25) I no longer use, so am thinking could it somehow be modded by removing the lens etc and replacing that with a nose piece be used for taking astro videos, ,
 

The only hurdle I can see is software to control the camera, does anyone know of any, or even if this is possible,

Just a thought I had while playing with the settings on the camera, there seem to be plenty of them

They can be very delicate! Check the DIY forum. Suggest you retain the lens and use the camera afocal behind eyepiece:-)
