Which webcam to buy ???

I have found a very informative site at http://ghonis2.ho8.com in which astronomical images from the Fusion and Toucam are compared side by side over a two page spread at http://ghonis2.ho8.com/fusiontest3.html and http://ghonis2.ho8.com/fusiontest4.html

The Fusion shows an incredible amount of clarity and detail.

Then further comparison is made between the very impressive Fusion and Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000. The test can be found at http://ghonis2.ho8.com/Pro9000a.html and uses a 'mouseover' image to compare the same scene taken with both cams - the PRO 9000 is absolutely amazing!!!

So, based on this most impressive website, are we to believe the Pro 9000 is the best cam yet?

I must admit, I'm feeling very tempted to buy one.

The Philips SPC900NC is the webcam to buy, it is CCD chipped, (less noise, hence less post proccessing), and can easily be adapted for very long exposures and a very high frame rate.

Avoid Cmos chipped Cameras.
