Jupiter dual shadow transition - 16th March

Here is a capture I did from my back garden, under reasonable seeing and new street lights put into Horsham which I think make lighting conditions worse, of the dual shadow transition of Jupiter on the 16th March.

Scope used - Skywatcher 150p on an Eq3 pro mount using a Philips ToUCam Pro 2 webcam.

  

Came out ok - best thing was actually watching the shadows move across the surface.

Very nice indeed.

I managed to grab a similar shot that same evening. Mine was with a 250pds and a IMG132 camera.

You lucky thing! Good shot. Try preparing the capture in PIPP or Castrator to crop the image before stacking. You don't get all that black sky and the file is smaller. A bonus!.
