Which guide camera mono ASI120 or ASI130....

I want to buy a new guide camera, and am looking at one of the above mono versions, it will only be used for guiding, so would the ASI130 be better as it has a slightly larger chip and pixels?

or the ASI120 for the slightly higher sensitivity but smaller pixels, I will be guiding through an ST80 @ 400mm focal length.

i think you could pick up a 2nd hand older model QHY5 model for half the price of the ASI120 i use one for guiding with a finder/guider never had any problem finding a star to guide on.

I recently bought the asi034mc and it is VERY sensitive. Also considerably cheaper than anything else. Still trying to integrate it smoothly with my set up though. Instructions are thin on the ground.

+1 for the QHY5-II (I have the 'L' or colour version). Works faultlessly with PHD and if you're going to be using a big ST80 you won't be needing to search for guidestars either, you'll have your choice from any FOV.
