Not a great night: cloud kept coming over. For this shot I hadn't properly focused the scope. The later shots when I had achieved a better focus haven't come out well. I'll try reprocessing them tonight. Taken with DFK21AU618, About 3000 frames stacked in Autostakkert, sharpened in Registax 6 and finished in PSE 12.

Definitely Jupiter and well done for getting the shot in challenging conditions.    The seeing was very difficult for PI last night - I shot 2hrs of LRGB at 6000 frames per channel and was struggling to find anything worth processing.    Lovely night though and great to be outside under the stars in no more than a gentle breeze.   Sadly this morning we're back to wet and windy.    Possibly a brief gap tonight, but otherwise the week looks set to be another write off
