Castration. Who's into it?

Discovered this the other night. So far it works pretty well. Basically it crops an avi file to just show the planet and reduces the file size so it is easier and quicker to stack. Used it last night for the first time and seems pretty useful.

I tried it but couldn't fit everything in the frame. I use PIPP now and find this works very well indeed. PIPP -> Autostakaart 2! -> Registax 6 (for wavelets) -> Photoshop CS3.

Haven't heard of that one till now. I'll have to check it out. I really like Castrator. I was amazed how simple it works and how much faster I can stack larger files.
