My website is in my profile, but there's not much on VSOing there. You can learn a lot from the AAVSO site, (American Association of Variable Star Observers), at www.aavso.org. There's also a British version, the BAA at http://www.britastro.org/vss/

I find it's great fun. You don't get the chance to see something supposedly as stable as the stars changing brightness and even color over time.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I quite an acomplished variable star observer myself but specialise in naked eye variable.

I know the AAVSO very well.....I contribute regular observations to them....keep a look out for me (SDAV) although their site isn't showing many of my observations at the moment due to a bug in their software.

Know the BAA as well....great set of blokes :-)

You forgot the SPA......www.popastro.com :-(

The obsy will be to house the imaging scope, but I will be custodian of a 12" Lightbridge for our society :D so while the camera's are doing their bit, I can be outside looking!

So, as soon as I have a flat area to stand the scope on, I fully intend to try again!!
